Taylor Swift Accused Of Stealing Lyrics Nov 2nd 2012, 14:30 Taylor Swift has been accused of stealing song lyrics on one of the tracks off her new album, Red. Matt Nathanson has accused the songstress of stealing the lyric: “… and I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to” from the song, ‘All Too Well’. The words bear a striking similarity to Nathanson’s 2003 lyrics from his track, ‘I Saw’, in which he sang: “… and I’ll forget about you long enough to forget why I need to.” Matt expressed his disgust via Twitter (now deleted) writing, “she’s definitely a fan … and now she’s a thief.” Nathanson knows Taylor is a fan, because she’s been seen with his song words written on her arm at gigs in 2011 and 2012.
