Original Carhartt Jacket, Vogue Material! Jan 18th 2013, 10:11 Remember we talked about Carhartt a while back? It was because (what else?) a certain Carhartt Jacket was worn by Joseph Gordon – Levitt in a movie – Looper, to be more specific. Well, here we are, having the Carhartt conversation again because – well, believe it or not – a classic Carhartt work jacket was featured in the last issue of Vogue US. The pictorial in question is called 'The American Way' and it was photographed by Peter Lindbergh. The $85 jacket is worn by the beautiful Amber Valletta who's starring in this photo story with Taylor Kinney. With styling by Alex White, hair by Didier Malige and makeup by Mark Carrasquillo, this new pictorial from Vogue US February 2013 is the very intersection between the traditional cowboy life and the modern day denim. Adding Amber Valletta to the mix was a great idea – she's really one of the most known and beloved American models and, most importantly, she looks like almost like a normal sized woman!
