Boston Mobster Enrico Ponzo indicted on Rico charges Feb 3rd 2013, 10:13 accused Boston mobster, Enrico Ponzo An enforcer for a Boston based  break-away faction of the Patriaca Crime Family of La Cosa Nostra led by high caliber consiglieri Joseph "J. R" Russo was indicted Thursday on a cluster of Federal charges     Enrico Ponzo, a/k/a Jeffrey John Shaw, 44, of East Boston, Mass.was charged in a smoldering superseding indictment with multi-mafia related racketeering (Rico) charges.    Ponzo  was hit with conspiracy to murder charges.  He is accused of being one of several shooters on  a renegade Patriarca hit-team attempting a takeover of the family by gunning down crime boss” Cadillac Frank” Salemme at a Saugus pancake house.   Salemme made the missed-hit-list and escaped with a couple of bullet wounds     Read the globe Story   Media files: af11 accused Boston mobster, Enrico Ponzo
