Boxing trainer Emanuel Steward dies aged 68 Oct 26th 2012, 16:49 Emanuel Steward, the legendary boxing trainer who directed world champion fighters such as Thomas Hearns, Wladimir Klitschko and Lennox lewis, has died at a Chicago hospital aged 68. Steward’s family say he died after having “complications through surgery” for digestive disease diverticulitis, though they say he was not in pain when he passed away.
